Intensive Reviews

The Intensive Review Programs consist of dynamic workshops presented by qualified professors in their different fields of expertise. They use the appropriate learning resources and techniques which make the Almeida Institute the best in the country. Each professor offers the fundamental concepts of the review with demonstrative and practical exercises that highlight those skills which are included on the real exam. Furthermore, these reviews provide useful strategies to answer the different types of questions that measure the various kinds of skills on each test. These strategies also help the student to maximize the probability of correct answers for each section of the test. This program has been designed to develop those skills that will increase the possibility of a successful outcome on tests.

The learning resources and materials have been carefully designed and selected by expert professors who are specialists in the different fields of study relevant to the areas discussed on the tests. These materials and resources are periodically revised and improved to facilitate the students’ preparation in the specific areas and skills of the test of interest.

Furthermore, each review manual will allow the student to review and practice those skills presented in the classroom, which are focused on the content and particular skills required on each test. The reviews also offer excellent strategies to adequately answer the various types of questions presented on the test. Each manual contains demonstrative exercise to practice with the aid of the professor in a pleasant classroom environment. In addition to this, the manuals include an independent study section to allow students to study in their spare time in order to prepare more thoroughly for the upcoming test. Explanatory answers are provided for each practical exercise to allow the student to analyze their performance step-by-step and improve test scores.

Modern audiovisual aids are used by the professors and instructors in each workshop. You may see material presented in the form of transparency projections created with the use of “Power Point” and “Corel Presentations”.

At the end of each review section, post-tests are given as a means of self-evaluation for each student. Students will be able to monitor individual progress of each skill measured on the test. This will allow each student to concentrate on skill-practice at home.
