The History of Almeida Institute, Inc.

The Almeida Institute, formerly the Almeida Tutorial Center, was established in August 1990, with the purpose of offering educational tutorial services to undergraduate students in various academic areas. In 1993, the focus of the services changed to specialize in intensive preparatory reviews for proficiency tests and admissions to undergraduate and graduate studies. In 1996, the Almeida Institute Tutorial Center changed its name to Almeida Institute, Inc.

The Almeida Institute, Inc. is a bilingual (English and Spanish) educational institution. Its main purpose is to help students achieve higher scores on aptitude and equivalency tests, admissions to graduate studies, bar exams, and licensing through intensive preparatory reviews and professionally designed workshops. Almeida Institute is an active member of the Puerto Rican Private Education Association. It has helped over 10,000 students from Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the U.S., and has achieved excellent results.
